Nah man you just don't get it, F1 is just scared of a little rain nowadays. Not like the good old days when drivers were dying every other race.

If F1 isn't scared of a little rain, why are they nowhere near restarting the race right now?

You're being obtuse here.

The fact is, whether you like it or not, the current generation of cars create far too much spray to race safely when the track is very wet. Would you rather they started the race now, ran for 5 or 6 laps under safety car before they race again?

Yes. There's no reason why they can't race under race conditions right now.

Now who is being obtuse? You know fine well that if it started now there would be multiple laps under safety car before they started racing. By delaying the start it should enable them to race straight away.

Why? There's no reason for any more than 1 for them to allow the rolling start.

Arguably should be a standing start anyway.
