You mean except Sportscene on Saturday night, which is now available on iPlayer?

Maybe the reason YouTube doesn’t have them up (yet?) is because the BBC have the online highlights rights from R4? But no, let’s just assume the worst and kick Scottish football into the bargain.

Yes, cheers for letting me watch all 40 seconds of highlights from the Saints v Hamilton game, what a fucking delight

Folk wanting to see the highlights will have lost interest by the time they actually release them.

Why not make the Highland Derby a Friday night fs. Shite for the fans.

Particularly shite given that the SFA said ties would be played on the 9th and 10th of February. TBF for most fans planning to go I am sure they will still head along but for me and other ICT fans located in the central belt it's now a non starter.

Guessing it'll be to do with potential Aberdeen game being on the Sunday afternoon and the BBC crew will probably just move on up the road on the Monday morning to cover the match on Monday night.

No surprise on TV selections but odd for BBC to favour Monday night over Friday night.

Surely they didn't prioritise the Eurovision qualifier?

If that’s due to be on BBC1, the decision might not have been in BBC Scotland’s hands.

Totally bizarre to announce TV games when they don’t know who will be playing in them. Potentially Stenny v Queens and Killie v Cowden (unlikely but you never know). Who the f*** wants to watch that apart from their own fans?

Maybe they didn't have a choice because the final draw won't be know until next week, or later if Cowdenbeath need a replay.

It's the same in England where FA Cup picks are announced before replays. The broadcasters take a gamble on the team that's expected to win actually doing so.

That'll be the same with most ties, I certainly wouldn't be watching a Hibs v Raith tie for example...

If Stephen Dobbie's involved that's enough reason to watch it.  Simples.

Can't say Aberdeen Vs Dundee is anymore exciting tbh.

I remember years ago in England when the FA Cup draw was AFC Wimbledon or Ebbsfleet v Stevenage or MK Dons. ITV immediately secured the TV rights for that one, hoping for the (what would have been) first ever meeting between Wimbledon and MK. Wimbledon won their replay, but MK lost against Stevenage, resulting in Wimbledon v Stevenage being live on TV with very few viewers as not many people other than the fans of those clubs were interested.
