senorsoupe
If we are making jokes about ex-players, I'm sure that this guy would jump at the chance to re-start his managerial career at one of his old clubs..
LondonHMFC
I don't understand what Rodgers is meant to be loyal to? What more do Celtic fans want from the bloke? Moyes is a good choice, used to working with an inept board after his last stint in management.

I'd say that's a cop out, many people have said the top division is stronger than it's been in a long time.

Decent stature in the game, but been on a downward trend since the Man United job (though to be fair, there aren't many places to go up from there) and I'm sure that means he'd be easy to deal with (ie, cheap for an ex EPL manager). Win win - Celtic get a high profile manager who's also an ex-player for a bargain price, Moyes gets to restore his reputation by winning the treble in his first year :-) Good shout.

'What else don't they know?' The benchmark will always be Larsson. The_Judge
OR will the Solskjaer experiment in Manchester convince them that it's Larsson time?

Why on earth would he wait until the end of the season, Leicester are probably the best offer he's likely to receive after Celtic, the offer might not be there in the summer.

But in terms of being loyal but still ambitious in a money-driven footballing world he is what we all dream of. nsr
It'd be a brave move, but I think Celtic should give the post to a retired player with no management experience. Namely Eddie Pope.

Rodgers probably isn't the best candidate come seasons end. Other teams may also sack their manager (as you've highlighted it's fairly common practice) so Leicester may have ponied up a fair wedge for Rodgers to get him now.

How many clubs with a squad and profile similar to Leicester are going be looking for a manager in the summer? Out of those, how many will have Brendan at the top of their list, he's not exactly shown himself able to organise a defence thus far.
