GNU_Linux
Full results. I's say that Penicuik's win over Cumbernauld was the result of the round. Biggest suprises are Penicuik seeing off Cumbernauld very easily, struggling Gretna seeing off Hill Of Beath & Fort William scoring five in a game for the first time since christ knows when.
Sunrise
How well are Broxburn doing this season? A sore one for Mark and Martin at East Stirling.

Le Tout P'ti FC
Sad to see Bonnyrigg relegated back to the EOSL. Maybe a fuse blew on those floodlights?
Scorge
Took in the 'apart from Kelty/Auchinleck this should be good on paper' tie of the round at Bellslea this arvo. Surprised to see Ewan Moyes in the Bonnyrigg defence, I thought he had retired a couple of years ago! First half was fairly even, plenty effort but not too much quality, Bonnyrigg probably moved it about a little bit better. Fraserburgh only themselves to blame for not putting away several good second half chances when they had the wind and laid siege to the Bonnyrigg box, though. Rose scored with only their second or third foray forward right on 90 minutes, and left no time for the Broch to find a way in. Bit of a smash and grab, and I;d have felt sick if I'd been a home supporter. Decent crowd, guessing around 550.
HibeeJibee
West Lothian was about as far west as I could make for 3pm so I decided to take a chance on traffic and head for Broxburn v 'Shire... glad I did as it was a barmstorming cup-tie complete with the underdogs racing into an early lead, the visitors roaring back into the game plus recovering their position - maybe even pressing for the winner - only for a stoppage time strike to spark wild celebrations. Lax defending saw Broxburn burst through to open the scoring within only minutes on the clock, and a foolish chop saw a penalty make it 2-0 and the hosts in dreamland. Thereafter they went into their shell and 'Shire began dominating possession and pressure albeit only crafting occasional chances. They got themself right back into the tie just before HT with a cracking direct freekick. Second half was more of the same and an equaliser seemed almost inevitable. At that point Broxburn came back to life - and a couple of opportunities should have seen it go 3-1. Back came 'Shire and after Athletic's defence and 'keeper failed to deal with an aerial effort the loose ball got prodded in. All set to replay until the Broxburn breakaway was deftly lobbed home. 'Shire must have about the angriest bench in Scottish football? Game was not 2mins old when F-ing and blinding at the linesman and referee began... Ure received a touchline caution for blasting a waterbottle to smithereens before it even went 2-0... Rodgers hadn't been on the pitch 5mins when he was booked for dissent... backchat to fans on the embankment including at one point even a Staffordshire bull terrier. Does harassing and haranguing the match officials actually get an edge for a team? If anything it might do the opposite. If they ever come up against an official who unbendingly classifies the F-word under "foul & abusive" he'll need an oversize notepad. HibeeJibee
Shortly after Broxburn doubled their lead an overjoyed wee lassie in full-kit ran round from behind the goal shouting "IT'S TWO NIL!!!!" to make sure everyone knew. Quality.
Poet of the Macabre
Hoped to see the Linlithgow game today but was cutting it fine anyway and ScotRail soon ended all hopes. Good to see Stirling Uni get their customary win up in the Highlands and shocked at Shire getting bundled out at Broxburn. Grade A minter for Andy Rodgers; what a shame. Thinking Fort William have a very good chance of being chosen for the televised game in round two.
TheScarf
Stirling Uni seem to have an Indian Sign over the HL sides. I reckon if they drew Cove away last season they would’ve weirdly won 7-0 or something.

HibeeJibee
Exceptionally young XI for Stirling Uni yesterday too, apparently, many teenagers. Expect they'll televise Cove; Auchinleck if drawn away; or maybe Fort William (as although their winning games draws attention: it also means "the worst team in Britain" tag rings hollow).

They'll be looking desperately for an Old Firm angle. For all the romance-of-the-cup cliches, they've never really demonstrated any evidence that they actually feel or understand it.
parsforlife
Fort William in a winnable tie. Talbot vs a league side or cove vs HL side(or possibly EK). would be my guess. Talbot vs cove probably their ideal tie.
HibeeJibee
Friday night 7pm so precludes Talbot or Lochee at home (no floodlights). EDIT: Interesting if BSCG and Gala draw each other. If so they'd meet 3 weeks running during October in 3 different competitions (LL, South Challenge Cup, Scottish Cup). EDIT AGAIN: Indeed it could become 4 weeks running if went to replay! Edited September 22, 2019 by HibeeJibee

They've been promoting the fact it will happen on Sportscene and what time that show starts. Formatting of the show isn't something that will be in the control of the SFA, so it's not like they'd be able to give a definitive time. They probably wouldn't put it at the front of the show in case the live element overruns, and throws off the highlight packages. So it'll probably be in the last 15 minutes. And it's not like they're going to say only tune in for the last 15 minutes of an hour and 15 minute programme.
