They'll use the transfer ban as an excuse. Still seems to be some journalists who think Sarri was dreadful so they'll start saying its "Sarris squad" thats the issue.

Bairnardo
It will mostly be "thats the steep learning curve of the EPL" type patter. Ignoring the fact that OGS is also wildly out his depth with an utter gang for a squad. Oft, imagine if this was Sarri, or Mourinho. I wonder how the media will react to Lampard after this.
Ro Sham Bo
Chelsea could do with 8 or 9 players when their transfer ban ends in January.I've rarely seen a team at that level give the ball away as much as they have. Since the second goal they have completely lost the plot.
Mastermind
Oft, imagine if this was Sarri, or Mourinho. I wonder how the media will react to Lampard after this. I’d imagine he’ll get a bit of leeway for coming in to a squad with no decent goalscorers, having just lost one of the best players in Europe and not being able to bring anyone in. I can see him being given a lot more time that usual. That said, what a pumping they have taken here second half. Man United looking good - Pogba and Rashford have been fantastic -

Wee-Bey
Fair play to United, looks like they might put in a serious challenge for 4th place this year.
Guest DAVIDB69
The problem for united will be the usual overboard with a good result. Can they challenge city and Liverpool etc , don’t think they will challenge spurs but 4th will be up for grabs

Jarballs
It's not all bad for Chelsea, on further inspection I have upgraded my opinion of their strip for this season from 'minging' to 'shite'.

You have to fancy it will be between Arsenal and United but it could be an absolute clusterfuck between them and a couple of surprise packages. Chelsea, obviously look rancid

eez-eh
Looks to me like Chelsea needed an experienced centre back who has some composure on the ball.

Glorious. Lol I have him on ignore and the app has improved immeasurably in that regard. It not longer shows up posts in massive spoiler tags so its very easy to miss someone repeatedly bamming up a thread

Diamonds are Forever
1 hour ago, Herman Hessian said: always thought Azpilicueta was halfway decent, but he's been might to look a right clueless bag'o'shite for those two goals... His only really good season was when Conte played him right side of a back 3. He was really suited to that role as he didn't have to offer anything going forward and he had plenty of cover round about him with wing-backs and centre backs. He was pretty poor last season. If you compare him to other 'modern day' full backs at other top clubs he just doesn't cut it. Not particularly quick, not powerful and doesn't offer an attacking threat other than crosses from deep (which Morata did well with a while back). And if his leadership with the Kepa situation last year is anything to go by he is not captain material either.
