I wonder if Arsenal would be tempted to go for Rodgers? Although I think Leicester have a better squad overall currently than Arsenal.

Possibly, although I think Rodgers would at least see out this season at Leicester given how well they are doing at the moment.  Arsenal have a squad that could suit Rodgers though, a lot of good young talents that need a good coach.

"You're getting sacked in the ebening" coming from the Leicester fans (probably Arsenal fans too tbh)

Think dick Emery will be gone on Monday.

Arsenal will try and get Rogers but be told where to go

Just found this in an article on VAR

https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/var-premier-league-should-improve-video-referee-red-card-penalty-offside-tottenham-liverpool

How VAR interprets offside is probably the most divisive issue at the moment. For some, it is an objective decision and therefore irrefutable; we might not like it, they say, but you cannot argue with facts.

But that’s the problem. It isn’t factual. The frame rate of the video footage used to analyse offsides gives accuracy to within around a 30cm margin of error. Consequently, any freeze-frame that shows a player’s foot, or more often their armpit, less than 30cms offside is by definition invalid. Null and void.

Apparently they have 12 super and ultra slow motion cameras in the ground. They can stop it far more accurately that what it seems.

We just get the basic footage at home as some footage is licensed to clubs/data analysts or something.

Will never be 100% though. Not sure about the whole line drawing either.

VAR is only as good as the people who operate it, and at the moment they are making a proper baws of it in England.

That Sheffield Utd goal that was disallowed was a shocker. How far do they go back and check in the build up? Not one Spurs player even thinks there is a hint of an offside there.

Watching that Sheffield Utd goal makes me so glad we don't use VAR here. Airdrie scored a last minute winner today and there was pure elation as we knew it was a goal, there was no fear of it being ruled out 2 minutes later. If we had VAR, there's no doubt you'd lose a bit of that as you'd be worried the goal would be disallowed like Sheffield Utd's was today.

Obviously for every team that gets a disallowed goal another team benefits, so you can make the argument it all cancels itself out. But those moments of elation are surely why fans even go to games in the first place. VAR, in it's current form, is ruining that.

Emery saying he doesn't know if Xhaka will appear for the club again.
Its gone on too long now and if he did appear he'd be hounded every single touch. Looks like a loan move in January on the cards.

Couple of decent games and he’d be fine at Arsenal. That’s how fickle football fans are. The whole thing has been handled appallingly which is par for the course at Arsenal.
