He’s the twat who was on VAR and said Gomez wasn’t pushed in the Bournemouth game, so he couldn’t decide tonight that “aye, that was a push”. The earlier penalty clearly showing that English officials are prepared to protect one another even when they get it wrong. If the ref hadn’t given it, and VAR looked at it, they wouldn’t have given it either.
