Rangers' Wee Spot in Europe - Season 2023/24

Recommended Posts

Scott Wright definitely won a competition of some sort.
There's a player in there.

You're not 2-0 up without him, for example.

But his inconsistencies within games are baffling. One involvement really good, the next awful.

He's got decent potential IMO, if you can work with him.

i think Ajax from the early 90s might have them beat. And is Rangers average age that low with old man McGregor in goals?

If Rangers win this will they be the youngest team to play in a European final?

Fair fucks to Aribo putting his face in the way of that also correct decision to take him off, looks completely out of it.

Very good from Rangers. 2 excellent goals and some very good performances.

John Lundstrum had turned into a very good signing. Think most of us for that one wrong. He's been excellent again.

Theres a red and a bottle job in this if Rangers don't use their heads.
I reckon one of Goldson or Bassey ain't playing in the final if Rangers get there.

They're both a hung leg from a red with this ref. He's been terrible so far.

Rangers need to watch that, and the adrenaline dump in the second half IMO.

Aribos gone now, there's less to make it stick up top. There SHOULD be an onslaught here... Think Leipzig need replace Poulsen tho. Hes not scoring.

The one thing Real Madrid Eintracht Frankfurt's European run has taught us is that English teams are absolute bottle jobs.

Three out of the last six Europa League finalists were English clubs. Chelsea won it two years ago. Man United won it in 2017 and were finalists last year

Chelsea also won the Champions League last it year, beating Man City in the final. Liverpool beat Spurs in the final two years ago.

If that's your idea of "bottle jobs", how would you describe the performances of other countries' clubs in European competitions?
