Thought we were excellent in the first half and we pressed them relentlessly. Tempo dropped off in the second half as it became a bit unsustainable but we still managed to limit Sparta’s chances. Two very well taken goals and the front 3 caused all sorts of problems. Ross McCausland looks excellent going forward. He created 3 really good chances and his passing was excellent. However, he was a liability defensively when we needed discipline and we got caught out down that side a few times as Sparta pushed at the end.
