DumbartonTheSons
He's been playing in the middle of the park for the last few years. I'm keen to find out from someone who's seen him recently what kind of player we're getting.Point taken I guess then.
bluetoonscotty
Is Willie Gibson any good? He's just signed for Stenhousemuir.Very good on the ball, seen him play some beautiful passes in his time here but at the same time also seen him hit the first defender at a corner countless times. When playing centrally he was quite good at taking the ball under control and calming the play down and could really control the midfield on his day. Unfortunately we didn’t see enough of that so towards the end of his spell here his playing time was limited. One thing you can’t take away is he’s a battler, so you’ll see a fair few crunching tackles going in. The down side to that is he tends to lose the head very easily and this impacts on his performance. However, the quality is there and I do think he can do quite well for Stenny in league 2.
blueone
He's 35 now but very fit and still has all the skills. Like every other player at this level will have good days and bad days but if he's in the mood the good will definitely outnumber the bad. Played nearly 100 games for us over two seasons which says it all really especially with the amount of travelling he had to do. Should be an excellent signing for Stenny.

blueone
Norris / Willox being allowed to leave / go on loan. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/peterhead-fc/1835229/peterhead-open-door-for-aaron-norris-to-depart-in-search-of-first-team-football/ Is this allowed? Can we replace them? Any Clyde fans able to clarify the loan rules please?
David W
Transfer window isn't closed for loans/free transfers for League 1/2, so you can replace them. And loan them out, as long as it's not to Championship, Premier league or abroad.
CM.
I quite like that a Clyde fan did actually clarify the rules there despite it being a tongue in cheek question. Edited September 5, 2019 by C. Muir

Yet another local guy that can't get a run in the team whilst we appear happy to give anyone a contract if they have two legs and stay in the borders area.

Urgently needing a striker to give us any chance of staying up.
Hank Scorpio
Does Derek Lyle usually look as unbothered when playing as yesterday? Barely saw him break into a jog.
peternapper
Could not have blamed anyone sitting on the bench yesterday for saying they had forgotten their boots as the game was long gone. Lyle usually tries to get involved but needs to play off someone, as mentioned meantime without Rory we don't have anyone physical enough for others to play off.. Aidan Smith looks like he needs a goal to get a bit of belief but would think he would be more of a provider than a target man.

Barely saw him break into a jog. Derek is just back after an injury lay off and was probably holding back seeing as it was already 3-0 and the game was lost. He is still very fit for his age and can normally be relied upon to put in a good shift. I thought he was a bit lucky not to be sent off for arguing with the ref after the petulant foul which resulted in a booking. A game for us to quickly forget as it could easily have been 6 or 7 for Raith Rovers. Without Rory we are toothless up front but even he would’ve found it hard against the Rovers defence who surely had their easiest game for a long time.
