Nobody's come out of this looking good. It’s not quite the same though. Colts will be out after a year, Brechin could be there for a long time. -

If the colts bugger off (but we all know what'll probably happen) , it'll be interesting to see if this HL v LL thing rears its head again when the LL finds itself two teams down. Part of me thinks that this all comes to the fact that playing in the HL next season brings far more work with it as pretty much everything needs to change, whilst LL would be far more 'keep calm an carry on'. Any City fans know how many Brechin players are still under contract for next season? The joys of driving along and beyond the Aberdeen bypass almost every second Saturday will wear thin very quickly I'd imagine. Of course, they'll have known this going into the playoff.

Mon_The_Fife
Bloody hell Brechin what a shambles from the guys running your club. It’s no wonder you are where you are with absolute trumpets making the key decisions.

Hedgecutter
Renaming the Tier 5 divisions as the 'Buckfast Premier League' and 'Massey Ferguson Premiership' would save so, so many problems imo.
gm_1982
One would imagine that it would take more than two individuals to give approval for a £17,000 per season bribe. You’d be wrong, or so I’m told.

Of course it does. Your season ticket holders own the club and elect the committee. It is literally the chosen representatives of the supporters that have done this.

Not as simplistic as that. It was overwhelmingly decided that the outdated system we were working with had to change to be able to compete financially with the new money coming into the game from clubs below. The supporters still have the chance to have a say in the club by becoming shareholders.
