Just got home. What a second half[emoji23] good nights work from the lads. Thought Conor was man of the match , not just because he scored 2. But he never stopped running the whole game [emoji122] Glad Del managed to get on the score board, he'd missed 2 sitters before scoring[emoji122] but overall the team played well, though it was still 2 sloppy goals to lose[emoji848]

Bankies deserved the win could have been more with miss when through on goal. Then again it took a great goaline clearance to stop Craig making it 3-1 Kilbirnie...could have been different then perhaps but Bankies controlled most of game so no complaints. Plenty about Ladeside defending though [emoji4]

All the best for the season [emoji482]

In complete control and almost threw it away. Rob Roy not won a game all season and make no mistake they could have easily turned it around in the second half. We need Morrison between the sticks in the next game, Waters just makes the whole team nervous. He is a good shot stopper but his decision making, communication  and kicking are poor. If you are not good enough to pass it around like Manuel Neuer, just kick it the way you are facing. The amount of times the two new full backs get caught under the ball or not goal side is frightening.

What has happened to the centre back cowie? saw his signing announcement on twitter but not heard of him since.

Think yesterday was one of those games. Was in control the first half and changes to the back four in second caused by injuries didn’t help. Agree keeper making everyone nervous but bailey and birno are 2 cracking full backs. What are you basing this on as in the first half they won most of their headers and were in control. The changes didn’t help and the og something else. The team will make mistakes but we have drew with beith should have beat pollok and beat kilbirnie. Let’s support the team instead of being critical.

Byrne is a decent full back and will be solid albeit not spectacular although he will get exposed by pace as we saw.You are starting to pick up results and that’s what we thought would happen when we saw you at Newlandsfield.

Totally agree birno is decent but does not to be spectacular. Not many full backs are against pace. The thing I like about him is he overlaps and makes wingers work. He does read the game and thought against yourselves he was one of our better players. He seems to be consistent. Good luck this year.

IMO Paul Byrne's main strength is his consistency. Rarely spectacular and rarely poor. If he's your weakest link in defence then you'll be fine.

tbh i think the big issue on Saturday was pfaffing about at the back on what is a hugely bobbly pitch - with 2 teams playing on it its not surprising. We do seem to be getting caught out a lot and Marc was very close to getting ball taken from him by delaying his kickouts. I know Holm Park surface possibly lends itself to patient build up from back but Guys Meadow doesnt and we need to be slicker if we're trying on a decent surface.

Majority of folk are behind team all the way but its way of football that you discuss issues and problems as well
