There's a rumour that Inverness are going to pull the plug on the loan deal, would make sense seeing as Fort are still complete dogshit.

Heard they're going to end the contracts of a few of the loanees, so I suppose it's possible that some might sign directly for Fort without the Caley pay.

Is everyone still upset at Fort William for taking so many players on loan or do people not give a toss as they are still guff? Funny one.

Think it was mainly Lossie fans who thought they were going to replace Fort at the bottom.

After the initial nonsense, everyone - except Clach - have returned to beating them as easily as a suspect in shackles, and no ones really fussed now. 20,000 Twitter followers doesn’t make goals, which seems to be coming as a surprise to some.

The above rumours have been circulating a while. January will be a big month for thon.

Probably 7 or 8 of the 9 that don't make it at Inverness will drop down and be at Elgin in a year's time.

Even Elgin wouldn't take Inverness' rejects these days, must be a barren spell for your youth teams lately.

You've literally got one of our youth players on loan just now.

Fort William's game called off tomorrow... Their last 5 home games have been off and they last played a home league game on October 5th (they did manage a League Cup R2 tie in mid-November). They will have to play 20 league games in approximately 16 weeks from January-April... having managed 12 league games in 23 weeks from July-December. Of course, there must be a good chance they'll suffer more postponements, especially in January and February.

Must be a big challenge for income - they've only played 5 home league games all season.

Similar to most seasons for home games but I think they've been unlucky with away postponements. Must be difficult to build up a local following and involvement when there are hardly ever Saturday afternoon games and just a flood of midweek evening kick offs in the Spring. And this in an unusually mild winter.

Never mind the challenge in income, it’s a migraine for the league secretary!

The best long-term solution for Fort William for survival as a club, would be the installation of a 4G Pitch at Claggan Park. Would almost certainly need some form of Council funding.

I've always been surprised by the lack of artificial surfaces in the HL considering that it's the HL clubs that would need it the most.
