DeeTillEhDeh
He will never resign, he's the English TrumpIf he staggers on to the by-elections and they get routed you can expect the men in grey suits to be at his door.

101
After a heavier defeat than May, Major and Thatcher it's worth remembering what The Minister of Brexit Opportunities said after Mays results.

Following further analysis, that excluding the Conservative MPs working for the Prime Minister, around 75% on his MPs voted against him.
Have some faith in Magic
What the hell is Starmer doing? Surley you let them fight like ferrets in a sack for a few more hours.
Fullerene
Apparently some of the MPs who voted against him are disgruntled individuals who feel Johnson has hindered their career. So says the BBC. Maybe true. However it is also true that some of the MPs that voted for him are snivelling toadies who have got further than they should because of him.
Highlandmagar
Starmer" Blah! , blah! The Queen, blah! , blah Union Flags in the back ground, blah! , blah!" What a snorefest he and his party is.
sophia
With around 170* wedded and showing loyalty to Johnson via their government "payroll" responsibilities, that is a disastrous result. *Quick Google on that but still

San Starko Rover
Great result, the lame duck keeps waddling on. No chance Johnson will fall on his sword and he’ll happily let the party tear itself apart trying to oust him. Boris cares about Boris and no one else.

yorkshirepud
I like this result. Dead man walking. Unless they change the rules, they can't touch him for another year and imagine how much damage he will inflict on the Tories in another 12 months. They're heading for an absolute shoeing in the 2 by-elections later this month when the real picture will become really clear to the 211 who voted to keep him. This is perfect.
