All in all, without these shit refereeing decisions there's a decent likelihood the team would be 5 points better off, two points behind County and in a much better place psychologically.

If we'd had a competent Summer window and a manager who could adapt the refereeing decisions would be costing us a top 6 spot instead of seeing adrift at the bottom. The club fucked it and deserve relegated, tbh.

It is a shame regarding the decision last night. The St Mirren one is really no surprise. In almost every game I see they get a game defining decision go their way. This year alone in the two games v us. First one a well saved penalty had to be retaken. Rarely if ever see that. Second game a blatant red card for Tait. It mirrors previous seasons with non penalties etc. A recurring theme sadly… Edited February 16, 2022 by welldaft

Stop blaming shit refereeing for our pathetic season. The fault lies at Davidson’s door. This can only be a good thing for Dundee, it will rejuvenate the players and they will probably get someone half decent in. I’m not even confident of us making the play-offs anymore.

A recurring theme happily, because it's great point and laugh material. Edited February 16, 2022 by FTOF

The club fucked it and deserve relegated, tbh. Agree with this. There’s no doubt at all that we’ve had zero luck - with injuries or refereeing decisions - for months. But that’s just exacerbated our issues rather than being the root cause. We’ve certainly improved since the Kelty disaster but there’s been worrying tactical decisions made when we’ve conceded (mental subs mostly) and we still look terrified when we have a lead. That’s on the management. I’d just about agree that if the decisions in the last three games hadn’t gone against us we’d probably have taken at least an extra two points - and maybe as many as 4/5. That would get us off the bottom - but still in the shit. If we hadn’t lost Rooney and Wotherspoon in particular for long spells I absolutely think we’d be further up the table. But the manager has been backed with funds, now has a huge squad, and we’re still doing stuff like chucking on Stevie May and leaving our two new signings on the bench when we need a goal. Leaving a fucked Middleton and a shite Crawford on for the last half hour last night was inexcusable. That’s the management’s call again. Sonam
I'"m hopeful County can still avoid relegation, but am afraid Dundee could get a new manager bounce now that would make things closer. Ross would be great for them if they land him. Even if County did fall into play off place, reckon we'd be favourites, even against Killie, ICT. Would NOT like Arbroath in play off final, that's certain defeat. Hope they win title. Main thing this season, even if County went down, we have been scoring goals, love the attacking football, so much better to watch than last season. Hate being near the play offs, but does make the season well entertaining. Better than mid table safety each year. Bring the battle on, can't wait!

RandomGuy.
Battle becomes Callum Davidson v Mark McGhee. A club who've stuck by their manager v a club who rolled the dice. McGhee gets an easy start as Dundee travel to Celtic on Sunday. Nothing to lose in that game apart from 3pts.
Lex
Didn’t McGhee almost get the Celtic job once?
