Not going to lie, Aberdeen is decent for a night out but, just based purely on appearances, all those grey, granite buildings that make up virtually every part of the city as you drive into it does give the place a look and feel of, drab, depressing, communist 1960's East Germany.

You're right, we should paint them jaunty colours like they do with the soviet style people hutches that make up Glasgow. 

Jonathan Meades liked our vernacular use of dormer windows, so don't slag our architecture.
