Seriously, people who still believe in a God after they reach adulthood should be treated with the same sort of concern as those who still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and St Mirren finishing in the top 6.

Careful now, I was given fairly short shrift for questioning our chief exec's twitter thread, which is somewhat religious at times. Granted I wasn't fully aware of the content and as to why that was the case.

So here is a question, which do we think is more plausible...

1) People adopted the local laws from the surrounding area, such as modern day Turkey and Syria. These laws were recorded and are strikingly similar to the commandments.

..or..

2) Some bloke made up some shit about how he met "God" on top of a mountain after a thunderstorm and this "God" carved the commandments into stone. Those commandments, remember, are still very similar to the local laws of the surrounding lands.

All prophetic stories are ridiculous nonsense, whether it's the Jesus claiming to create wine from water or Mohammed claiming to "ride lightning" (no, not a Metallica album!) 100's of miles to the temple mount.

First saying Trump was a liar and now this.

You better watch you don't end up in bother coming out with this stuff

Not to mention a snob who thought the working class were unwashed and uneducated. But when you're seven that sort of stuff goes over your nit infested head.

Several media outlets reporting the Andrew has been offered $100m to take a polygraph in a live ppv TV event.

Are they going to make him sweat...

Polygraphs are pointless, inadmissible in court (either here or in the US) to the point it's not even accepted as circumstantial, and any analysis will hinder any actual court case (if it ever gets that far).

That could set a trend.  We could do it with Blair and Iraq, or Trump and his taxes/paying sex workers/claiming he reads things…
