Maths homework

I couldn't do stuff like that when I was in secondary school never mind P6.

Just the other day, I read about an experiment where folk who were good at algebra, were than asked to solve some simple equations but rather than using the traditional x, y & z or a, b & c, they were given different letters such as f, l, g and so on. They all reported finding it much, much harder.

Conclusion: Algebra is a shite way to learn.

It would take me a while to figure out how to do this with a spreadsheet and I consider myself quite good at those.

I see a flaw in that logic: they weren’t actually good at algebra.

Good time to begin a discussion on the utter futility of existence IMO.

Don't be daft.

Let x = f, y = l and z = g.

Then write out the solutions that you already know.
