I'm probably being incredibly naive but a message that your kids will likely pick up Covid at school so be extra careful not to have house parties and wear a fucking mask might have some merit.

Forest_Fifer
Both governments are both in denial about the need for targeted shielding. There was mass hysteria from WFH journalists and Facebook maws about letting the virus circulate but now we know more about how mild it is for most people (Long Covid does not exist) it is the best way forward. It's basically what has already happened with key workers with little impact outside high risk areas of the NHS. See, you can say that long covid doesn't exist as much as you like, but reality would disagree with you.BBC News - Coronavirus: Specialist 'long Covid' clinics to be set up in Englandhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54449145

Our McTominay/ Gallagher centre back pairing will ensure it doesn't get near extra time.

ICTChris
Nicola Sturgeon during the press conference yesterday said that the virus was spreading less quickly in Scotland than any other U.K. nation.Today, in the evidence paper used to justify the increased restrictions the R number is higher in Scotland than any other U.K. nation.

Wee-Bey
To keep everyone happy and covid free, the obvious answer here is to shut pubs completely and set up hospitality in the schools when the kids leave at half 3. Get p7 to do a project on Ireland and boom, Irish pub at night for those inclined. P6 can do the failed statelet and Bob's (Billy's) yer uncle, a mini Louden Tavern. Get the jenga and Connect 4 out for a studenty pub vibe. Seaside leagues and Juniors can play in front of fans on the school pitches.

I was thinking we could have pupils, teachers and staff form a giant human chain around football stadiums to stop The Virus getting in. No need for a government bailout and fans back inside like the pandemic never happened. Edited October 7, 2020 by Szamo's_Ammo
