Aufc
Ive got an overnight at gleneagles in a couple of weeks with my mate and the wives. We were planning on being in the boozer for 12 for the football. Hoping perthshire gets put in a tier which allows this

UsedToGoToCentralPark
I’m impressed with how the Scottish Government and Nicola Sturgeon have dealt with the pandemic despite the many, many restraints placed on them. I think they would have done far better if Scotland was an independent sovereign nation with the power and access to resources that independence would entail. ICTChris
Presumably the truth-speaking SG will be along shortly to apologise for needlessly prolonging lockdown in the summer when cases were already low and the R rate easily below 1 - because there was no prospect of the border being shut down in June/July either. And then punting Sridhar and Leitch to the kiddies' table whenever the adults in the room are talking in future.Any minute now.

As I've already posted, the English advisers to BJ are saying the exact same thing as Leitch and only an idiot would honestly believe that in under 8 weeks the virus will be gone and everything will suddenly be ok. BJ is telling the moronic masses what they want to hear and even he doesn't believe it, on the other hand the SG is telling it how it is, however unpalatable that reality may be, still, it beats being treated as an idiot in my book. While I don't disagree with the sentiment that the Scottish electorate, at least for a bit, became more politically engaged than our counterparts down south it's really apparent that we're still collectively a nation of children.
Steven W
So if Tier 0 and 1 allow fans at stadia, there must be a chance that the Highlands will be in tier 1. That being the case Ross County would be OK for fans (with restrictions) for their match v Livingston on Fri 6th Nov. And presumably fairly routinely (all being well) for the weeks and months after. Likewise the NCL. However Glasgow has no chance of Tier 1 now or anytime soon. This is the first time that SG has passed it on to the SFA. I just can't imagine them being comfortable allowing Ross County and the like having fans and not allowing the old firm any. Interesting couple of weeks ahead on this front.

You have to demarcate somehow. Health boards are probably too blunt and postcodes are probably too problematic to police. I imagine the thinking behind sticking to health boards is it's then doing the test and protect so if a health board is seeing a spike their ability to deal with it will be reduced and will need to clamp down.
