Detournement
People taking the Vaccine while WFH with no health problems should be named and shamed in the tabloids. It seems like he’s got you so wound up that you’ve gone for a fairly horrible personal comment (that hopefully isn’t the case or it would be really bad) to try to really hurt him. I think if anyone needs a break it isn’t him tbh.

It surely must be proven beyond all reasonable doubt that it is only a small minority of parents that view schools as a free creche because they can't be bothered to look after children themselves, even more so since there's literally nothing else they could be doing right now except going to work or the supermarket. there is no way that the government is acting on pressure from people like that. can everyone please stop debating the issue with pie and bovrils poor mans answer to Adrian Durham

Bairnardo
Far too snippy a response to Leonard there regarding vaccine rollout from Sturgeon for me. Quite literally, the route out of the crisis is in their hands now and every day we go on, theres legitimate questions to be asked on that score.

Ive no skin in the game as i dont have any children...but i am finding the rage against schools being open pretty tedious and i basically just skip it all I dont really care but i would bet those raging that schools are open will have no kids themselves or if they are that angry would surely be keeping them at home

Detournement
Aye given that there will definitely be bad outcomes for some kids then I don't see why people are so angry about this. Closing schools isn't going to get us back to normal any quicker or get hospitality open. It's a trade that fucks over loads of kids to keep a far smaller number of people in their 70s watching the telly for a couple more years

DeeTillEhDeh
If that decision had been made prior to the holidays, why on the 28th July was Swinney and the SG still talking about the decision to be made? You are both correct - the intention to return was made on 23 June and confirmed on 28 July.
