Les Cabbage
On the point of getting vaccine letters when you’re not expecting them...one of my pals, 24, no underlying health conditions got one because he was obese about 6 years ago, guys built like the side of a fiver now, used to be very heavy though and they obviously haven’t updated their records .
DeeTillEhDeh
They have been open for weeks now ! Today sees a further step in the phased return. Still plenty secondary pupils not back for more that a few hours per week. They've not been closed. We had more pupils in our hub during lockdown than the 8% of Senior Phase pupils allowed in.Some primary schools will have had a substantially greater proportion of pupils in because of the number of children of keyboard workers and vulnerable pupils.

They are well behind where they could and should be and seem to be dealing with this by demonising one of the best vaccines against this disease. Truly remarkable. If this was being done by Trump or Bolsarano or a government like that you can only imagine the reams of spicy hot takes on social media and in the press about the stupidity of populism etc. Sadly, it's the countries fetishised as grown up and normal that are doing it. What a farce. Yet again Corbyn sounding wildly over the mark with his 7/10 rating for the EU. 3 hours ago, HibsFan said: Is this the James O'Brien who less than a month ago had a meltdown at a Corbyn supporter who phoned in expressing their doubts about Starmer? I know. the absolute arrogance of that moron writing a book called "How to Be Right" when he's signed up for the weekly wallet inspection service. An absolute weapon that can't even win an argument on his own radio show. Howard Stern would never.

ICTChris
Germany has suspended AZ vaccinations. I saw a tweet about Italian authorities actually confiscating 400,00 AZ vaccines from vaccination centres. It's utter madness.

scottsdad
If these countries don't want them, they should send them here. We'll happily take more AZ vaccine. 37 people have suffered blood clots following the jab - that's not to say that the jab caused the clots. 37 people out of 17 million vaccines so far doesn't make a pattern of anything. As per earlier posts, X does not always lead to Y.
