Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recommended Posts

What exactly was ‘covered up‘ and has any explanation been given why it might have happened.
It doesn't help when you get the BBC interviewing people anonymously like "Fiona" - the fact that this was raised through that dick Ian Murray makes me suspicious given SLab's previous on using proxies to put the boot in.

You don't know what's the truth and what is utter fabrication.

Covid-19 was a reportable disease in Scotland on 22nd Feb.

https://www.gov.scot/news/coronavirus-becomes-notifiable-disease-in-scotland/

It's completely unacceptable to use confidentiality clauses after this date as an excuse.

Make no mistake that if this was not the SNP and in Scotland we'd be all over it.

It won't just be confidentiality clauses but also GDPR - there has been criticism from Tory MPs of all people about how personal information is being used for Track and Trace might contravene GDPR.

K-League: FC Seoul fined 100 million won for sex dolls in stands

A South Korean club has been fined 100 million won (£66,500) by the K-League for filling empty seats with 'sex dolls' at their recent home match.

FC Seoul put 30 "premium mannequins" in the stands, with fans unable to attend because of coronavirus restrictions.

The club said they did not know the dolls were adult products and apologised on Monday.

"The incident has greatly insulted and hurt female and family fans," a K-League statement said.

Some of the dolls were holding signs advertising x-rated websites, despite pornography being banned in South Korea.

The K-League added that the club had made "a serious mistake" by not removing the dolls before the match.

They’ve definitely missed a trick there. Everybody knows sex dolls are easier to get through the turnstiles when their hands are tied behind their back.

Looks bearable if in the boozer with one other. Non runner for any more than that.

Edit - Any mention of going to the toilet?

An unavoidable crowding point unless you need to book a slot!

Suprisingly no mention of the toilet. Probably staff will be patrolling there to make sure you wash your hands!

I'll die before I accept no condiments on my table.

What’s the view in Scotland over the Nike conference outbreak? I reckon Sturgeon has done alright throughout the pandemic but really needs to be held to account on this cover up.

The Nike store in Bishopbrigss was closed for cleaning for a weekend in early March. It would seem fairly obvious now that one of the staff from there had attended that conference.

I find it strange that the excuse used for not making it public knowledge at the time was patient confidentiality, but within a coupl of weeks they were naming care homes etc that had cases.

Some more photographs of Portobello Beach, this time from the Evening News.

Again, from what I can see of that photograph, no-one is obviously breaching distancing.

The area around Portobello Beach has a lot of tenement flats as well so many people living nearby won't have any garden or outdoor space.

I’m sure the one in Glasgow was shut for “cleaning” at that time as well. Even now they’re still trotting out the “patient confidentiality” line, while at the same time throwing private run care homes under the bus

Entitled BBC wànker.

I’ve just walked into the TV room as this arsehole asks a Greek hotel representative about Greece reopening for tourists.

His second question is about quarantining people arriving.  You couldn’t make it up.

I see no difference in that pic to the scenes at the supermarkets or B&Q. This shaming culture is tiresome af

It's not as if they were going to start publishing all the people whwe at the conference's names and addresses in the papers. A simple statement to the effect that people who had attended had tested positive and anyone who had been in contact with anyone at it should seek medical advice was all that was needed.
