Wonder why it’s only covid ones that get mentioned in briefings like that’s the only deaths happening right now. A couple of days ago you were saying how tragic they were and comparing them with the hurt you felt by having personalities you don't like on breakfast television. If you don't think they're particularly tragic don't say so, nobody else is.

Cancer deaths aren’t going to start doubling every few days and are even less likely stop in 2021 Humans being mortal is an old story Cancer and other major causes of death will be much higher for years to come because the government scared everyone senseless in the spring and have left a permanent backlog in routine treatments. It's not actually an either/or decision: the UK has got, as usual, the worst of all outcomes. 15 minutes ago, Melanius Mullarkey said: Snapped up any more masks yet, m8? Rob1885
"belguim hoaching with covid" So hoaching the covid minister is now in intensive care with itAye that's my point. Its hoaching with covid and they still realise the minuscule risk in having football supporters socially distanced in an outdoor stadium.
Detournement
The police investigation will just be a delaying tactic to prevent the publication of the inquiry into first wave care home deaths until after the May election. You might have heard of the restrictions - they are to try to stop the spread of the virus using these, but being highly infectious, it seems the best they can do atm is try to slow it down. This means people are dying and there's virtually nothing we can do to stop this. So this chance of death, plus the fact we have few treatments and no cure (not to mention the restrictions) means it's pretty newsworthy stuff atm There's a really informative thread on the p&b site you can keep abreast of things with.

Not sure that's a wise route for you to go down, given that the government has readjusted its mebbe they had Covid but definitely died of something 'official tally' about 17 times since March.

On a par with this has been that absolute marks for themselves like Jason Leitch and Janey Godley have became “mainstream”. Switched on to This Morning and Janey was on it today and the presenters were being such sycophants
