Melanius Mullarkey
Took a drive through Dundee city centre there and it was driving through a Mediterranean city with all the folk sitting outside guzzling pints. Apart from they were all wearing anoraks and its fucking freezing. Still, great to see. Would like to see more of these city centre outdoor areas kept for the summer #scenes tbh.

Its what the people want. *But with fucking loads of patio heaters

Still confident it would be safer than the Magaluf strip even with rogue patio heaters.
Forest_Fifer
Maybe she is, maybe she isn’t. Either way she’s another example of a non-entity grimly clinging to some last vestige of previous “fame”. See also Lawrence Fox.

Just walked through Merchant City in Glesga there and I thought the same - I hope the outdoor spots are kept because whilst the weather here is pretty pish, I much prefer an outdoor seat with a lager.

Why are they not making the news?

Why are they not making the news? I guess the rare cases like that are why they don't want to declare victory. Bad PR for a picture of them popping a large champagne bottle to share the front page with one of a mum of four on a ventilator. Pictures of unemployed caterers don't have the same emotional impact.

madwullie
That boy that nearly died in Vietnam way back at the start was my best mate at primary school. He's a pilot now (or was, unsure of his health status as he took himself off fb not long after he got home), nothing underlying that I'm aware of. Early 40s. Not that this means the panic merchants are correct, they're not, but there are plenty examples out there of younger c***s getting it badly.
