Already seeing people on social media stating it’s all bollocks and won’t let their kids take it. Wonder what the correlation is between folk who have had the jog themselves and won't let their kids take it. You'd have to imagine it'll be pretty low, with the opposition coming from the anti-vaxxers. Obviously I wasn't looking for it at the time, but I can't recall anyone in school not getting their vaccinations when they were administered. I'm sure there will have been the odd one, right enough. Ron Aldo
They won't try another lockdown the public have done their time they are now dosed up and the NHS has been saved. It will be ignored if they try it.I get what you're saying and I would certainly ignore another lockdown as far as I possibly could but there's only so much you can do if pubs, stadiums, gyms, barbers etc. are all closed. Visiting family and friends would be about it.

I sailed through the first lockdown, naive in the belief that it could never happen again. When the second was announced before Christmas it felt like the whole world has collapsed in on me and mentally it never really got any better till towards coming out this one when the outlook became more optimistic. I honestly don’t think we will have another lockdown (nor should we) but it makes me a wee bit anxious nonetheless. This from someone with a generally don’t bother about anything and get on with it attitude.

I'm scared of politicians' reaction to the virus (lockdowns and other restrictions) too. Most posts in the thread over the last few months boil to fear of lockdowns. It's a reflection of the fact in the UK politicians have been saying the vaccine will bring a return to normal life, but are then keeping restrictions.

Lab leak is realistic though. Covid turning up randomly right outside the lab where they do experiments making Corona viruses more dangerous is a bit of a stretch. The letter which said Covid 19 was 100% not man made has been debunked. There is no evidence that it didn't come from the lab. Occam's Razor is that this is a Chernobyl, Challenger, Thousand Mile Island, Deepwater Horizon style human error rather than a huge coincidence with the lab being at the epicenter but unconnected. -
Bairnardo
There is literally no way that I will ever adhere to government mandated restrictions on who can enter my home again as it pertains to a virus we have all been vaccinated against. As Ron Aldo said already, f**k all you can do if they shut businesses etc down, but as far as I am concerned the time for that level of reach into our life is past.
