Aye, but no spirits allowed to be served. Honestly it’s laughable how ridiculous it is.

Fill yer boots on pints, but a gin and tonic is off the menu. Absolute nonsense.

I don’t really understand the purpose of this whatsoever. Is a single measure any worse than having a pint...

  • 695 new cases of COVID-19 reported
  • 14,873 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
    • 5.0% of these were positive
  • 0 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive
  • 12 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19
  • 121 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19

OHHH DEEAR past the magic 5% threshold, small number of tests for a monday tbf,

very modest increase in hospital numbers

nae deaths, aw fuckin weekend.

Low testing for sure, I always do one on a Monday and have results by now but yesterday’s still not through so perhaps a backlog.

Absolute NAP that the folk who order a GnT at a fanzone will be the same as the folk who clog up the pubs during Black Friday, ordering forty drinks and leaivng the pints of Guinness until the very end of the order

I'd ban it until everyone learned where the chorus is.

It's been a Scottish anthem for about five thousand years and you still have utter welts thinking the refrain comes in after the first chorus.

Edinburgh staying in Tier 2 😀

Pretty positive announcement I felt, she did say numbers are higher now than she’d like but making multiple comments about the vaccines stopping hospital numbers rising with case numbers rising and she also made the point that people are spending a lot less time in hospital now.

The main thing is that they don’t appear to be shitting the bed when case numbers rise at the moment, touch wood.

UEFA have a massive sponsorship deal with Heineken. They'll do what they can not to touch that but to be seen to be doing something.
