Excuse my ignorance but how do these prayers work?  I mean is there any way of finding out what any of these people actually prayed for? 

The reason I ask is that Trump is on his way to Nashville because of an act of God.  Namely a tornado.  At the same time Nashville has also announced an outbreak of Corona virus.

As conspiracies go, if I wanted to get rid of Trump without suspicion - well I am not sure I could do much better.

Princess Cruises aren't having much luck. After the Diamond Princess was a fertile breeding ground for the disease in Japan, they now have another ship, the Grand Princess, which is now just off the coast near San Francisco but won't be allowed to dock after a passenger who was previously on the ship died from the disease.

The latest case in WA was a woman who flew into Perth on Monday from Dubai. The wife's aunt and uncle were on the same flight. 2 weeks off work incoming.

There has been a lot of talk about "two strains" of the virus. The source was some research that seemed solid but its now getting a bit of air time from the more "excitable" corners of the internet. A team at Glasgow say the original research was flawed.

If you do come across people talking about "L strain coronavirus being more deadly" or something take it with a huge pinch of salt until this is resolved. 

Also 23 Iranian MPs are down with the virus. It may be signs that they are on the brink of a very large outbreak. They have cancelled prayers and are not following Islamic law in burying those with the virus (burying them in lime) so it seems like they are very worried about it.

I think its becoming clearer by the minute that the UK gvt is utterly out of its depth and floundering about cluelessly with regard to this,i can understand why people are looking to themselves even though this will create even more problems

I was in an Asda in Edinburgh yesterday and there wasn't  a lot of evidence of panic buying. Pasta, rice, flour and some tinned goods severely depleted but still some available. Everything else pretty much as normal at least in terms of food.

Looking at the number of cases in Europe linked to travel to Italy, you have to say the Italian numbers look as wrong as the initial Chinese ones from Wuhan did.
