I don't think there's anything wrong with waiting to see how they progressed in the leagues and cups and then, in the event that they get through in both Europe and the cup, squeezing in any left over games either after the split if possible, or in the midweek before and after the cup semi-final if not. You've misunderstood my point. They allowed Hibs v Rangers to be moved to Friday 20th December for TV, even though this meant they couldn't catch-up Rangers v St Johnstone on the preceding Wednesday, whereas Celtic did catch-up a game that midweek. Neither did they play it on Monday 23rd December (which would admittedly have meant playing St Johnstone v St Mirren on a different day). Similarly they could have played on March 9th but by allowing Ross County v Rangers to be put back 1 day for TV not brought forward 1 day that isn't possible either. TV permissions have obliterated 2 dates which is risky when no spares. That's what has necessitated panics like rearranging at 24hrs notice/etc. EDIT: If the pitch is as bad as claimed "2 clear days" will also be in trouble should Rangers-Braga be postponed 24hrs, unless they cancel St Johnstone-Rangers? Nor was it played Monday 23rd. That decision has come back to bite the authorities now, as they've effectively wasted a date and now suffered an unexpected postponement. The exact same scenario we face this week. Presumably they didn't push for that date for fear of a Rangers backlash about playing so many games in x days. Rangers have a big enough squad to deal with a backlog of fixtures - time the authorities grew a set. Man Utd are playing Monday night - Thursday night this week with both games away from home no less. I hope the game is postponed tomorrow, it's the least they deserve.

What’s the point in getting all staff/security etc back at Ibrox tomorrow (and having to pay them again no doubt) When the likelihood is the pitch will still be shit and the match still not playable? it really doesn’t make sense, given the reasons for calling it off and the weather forecast for more bad weather, to be trying to play this again tomorrow.

It may not make sense in that respect, but it is absolutely essential that the SPFL (and Rangers) try to get this game to go ahead to avoid an even bigger fixture congestion issue than they already have. Just to be clear, here are the remaining fixtures right up until the split. They already have a home match against St Johnstone outstanding, and currently no available dates before the split to play it. If they are knocked out of the Europa League then that St Johnstone game can be played in either of the Last 16 matchweeks, but if they get through then it is already impossible to play that St Johnstone game before matchday 33 of the Premiership. If you were to chuck in this Livingston game too then you can see the problem. Guest Moomintroll
Everyone and everything is against them including the Catholic weather, this is the struggle they have to face every day simply because they are Rangers fans. However it wasn't a total bust as they posed for a photo to get a shit load of Social Media likes and sympathy and lots of likes and more likes which is what drives the world these days.I don't really understand this whole thing, who is this idiot thinking he is having a go at by plastering the kid all over Social Media? They were at home so it is his own teams fault.

Always someone else to blame with these c***s.
