If the pitch is so bad I assume with a game today, 3 days of continual rain showers forecast then heavy rain Wednesday and a day of hail showers on match day Thursday that this pitch will be well fucked and no game for Thursdays UEFA?

Hail hail showers?

Going to be a giggity, giggity on Thursday.

Hopefully Braga aren't used to  Scottish conditions, mind you it'll probably be oor centre halves falling on their backsides.

Nah it'll be in pristine condition to showcase Scottish football's finest grass pitch to the world.

Back to reality, the only nice even bounces you'll see will be in the stands (to start with anyway), sure as feck wont see it on the grass pitch.

It’s inconceivable that we take 3 points from this game given the need for Rangers to put in a performance.

The combo of the tattie field forcing aerial balls and the wind pushing for the game to be played on the pitch will make for an interesting 90 mins. Could be a lottery. Having a relatively untested (and surely lacking sharpness) Schofield in goals for us could also be important.

If we had a full strength team then maybe we could have gotten something, but that lineup does not give me any faith at all. I don’t know why we change our fullbacks so often, ATS is our best lb and just now McMillan is the best rb. Nice to see Devlin back on the bench. Hope Bartley will be back for next week.

Wonder if that’s a back 3 with wing(er) backs? Agree McMillan has been good; Lawson a decent attacking option, too. I’m not sure Sibbald is defensively sound enough to play without Bartley so I understand Crawford and Jacobs.

Odds on Jacobs getting booked/sent off for a massive slider?

Yeah agree, Lawson was on a purple patch up to last week though, so hopefully the big crowd will get him back up to that standard. Lamie has had good performances against Sevco too, and got in Slippy's head.

Their pitch will be a great leveller for Sevco though, stopping us from playing our normal high scoring away game free flowing football, so we're prob going with Crawford, Jacobs and Lamie for a scrappy game in a soggy pitch.

Big chance for Schofield, it was a game against Sevco that Sarkic pushed his way into the starting eleven, Souda too needs to produce the goods, he's been in the doldrums lately.
