What happens if they ban large gatherings due to COVID-19?

Do the majority of games at this level have any real impact on emergency services? Rarely see any at Starks Park most weeks.

Can only speaking from an ambulance service pov with this. There isn't enough resources available in Scotland to have them stationary at stadiums most of the time. Physical injuries don't take priority unless life threatening so it would be silly to have them stationed in one spot for any length of time. Especially when there are trained first aiders there to deal with these things. We're not too bad in Kirkcaldy, the response time for most things is alot lower than in higher populated areas despite having less resources.

Are there ambulances at lower league clubs? I've only ever seen those volunteers.

Mainly because ambulances often need to go to A and E and you have the only one in fife

Only seen them for bigger games and they are usually just patient transport vehicles.

Pretty much. Dunfermline doesn't do too badly with that either though. Easy enough to bring them from surrounding areas if need be.

Seasonable solution would be to scrap promotion and relegation for all divisions. The downside of that would be the seethe from those who had built their squad on promotion and it not happening. The SFA should be doing all in their powers to ensure no clubs suffer real financial hardship through fixtures being cancelled, I am sure they have the funds to do so!

I don't think this would be in any way reasonable. We're 80% of the way through the season and teams have earned the right to be in a promotion battle or whatever. To just scrap all that hard work wouldn't make any sense.

Even if it has to happen in July/August, they should finish this season.

How do you finish a season when teams potentially don't have enough players to field a team though?

The League Cup normally happens in July/August and teams manage to field a squad.

Even if it's June, do you think these out of contract players are all going to declare themselves unavailable for a month?

If players are out of contract then clubs either offer them a new one or sign different players, just like they do they summer.

That’s with players signed for the following season, not those from the previous season...hardly fair.

this could get messy. playing behind closed doors seems the fairest way to finish the season however think the issue will be if it doesn't suit clubs to play and see the season out they will just declare players are self isolating and get games cancelled.

tough one. unprecedented times

Is that not a bit unfair with Fifers having six fingers 😗

Super John McGlynn would video analyse the f**k out of that.
I’d back us to win promotion that way.

The solution is simple - a game of headers and volleys. One representative from each team. First out finishes 10th, second in 9th and so on until you have a winner.

That would be outstanding. Or even cuppy doubles.
