Might be an indication as to the quality of the reporting at the Record when they consider 680 words a ‘mammoth’ piece of writing.

Aye. Basically a page and a quarter of A4. Not exactly War and Peace.

Why isn’t it a serious option? Games will need to be sacked off at some point, better not to sack off the current season though.

The issue with trying to extend this season is players contracts, so many players out of contract, joining new clubs and all that in June, could be many teams with half a squad come June/July and wouldn't have budgeted to have players during the summer and only sign new players leading up to next season, what happens with all the players on loan too, they'll go back to original clubs leaving other clubs with even less players. The SPFL would need to pay out lots of money to clubs to allow them to rebuild their squad until the rest of the season is played, it'd be a minefield for lawyers to wade through.

Not convinced. Is there any proof Doncaster actually knows who the teams in the Championship are?

Doncaster is not the biggest problem here.  I know that’s a hard statement to believe.
