ArabianKnight
Dundee being absolute slavers with their sleeping giant, delusions of grandeur approach to all this. You would think a club with previous negative experience of having issues with money would see sense and vote for the least worst option that ensures most if not all clubs stay afloat. But screw that as long as they get to put one over their closest rivals eh

Give clubs 28 days to vote, all but 3 vote straight away. Somehow, despite it being a vote cast over three divisions and 42 clubs, it comes down to a single club to decide the fate of the league and clubs. A club facing relegation if the vote goes against them, doesn't actually vote to oppose that. Apparently every club has voted, but their replies have gone to the spam folder and been ignored, and everyone is now away home. I've probaby missed stuff, but it just feels utterly Scottish. They could have a vote where you only need 3 teams to back it for it to pass, and we'd end up with 2 clubs voting yes, then the other 39 holding off for 28 days for absolutely no visible reason.

kevthedee
Nelms will be sitting in his house with his feet up puffing on a cigar and getting pissed on jack daniels with his phone switched off trolling the f**k out off the whole of Scottish football.

Trogdor
I understand that the three American owners of Championship teams are currently on a call to try and break the deadlock. Apparently, Cameron is acting as Arbiter between Nelms and Ogren.

No worse than the Daily Record's reporting or Dundee's word salad statement. Admittedly, it is a low bar today.

ayrunitedfw
Is null and voiding the season however awarding prize money to teams based on where they were placed when the season was voided an option? That way teams are still getting prize money. Teams like Celtic, Dundee United etc will obviously be aggrieved not being awarded the title but at least they’d get some prize money.

It’s not just about the yes vote teams there clubs voted no because of the impact it has on them. Or maybe you think it’s entirely right that Partick Thistle and Stranraer be relegated with several games still to play?
