What's stopping the SPFL just voting to hand out the minimum payments for each league to clubs - or whatever proportion of that they have right now?

They gave clubs money in March.

Me, begging. Get a grip of yourself.

You’ve been begging for weeks to get promoted. Get a grip of yourself.

Fucking shocking how bitter the dabs are to have voted against us getting a shot at the playoffs. Bitter as f**k.

Elgin reckon they're in a better position than other League One/Two sides, but theyll "comfortably run out of money before September", if they don't have to pay any wages until then.

Montrose didn't think they'd even get through to the furlough payments without fans having to raise money to pay wages.

Those are from their official accounts on twitter, from 2 weeks ago. Montrose fans have raised a couple of thousand pounds since then.

Clubs will die this Summer, regardless of this vote, but lengthening the entire process is simply starving them for even longer. I've no idea what Dundee have to gain from not just rejecting the proposal if they don't like it. Its too late to renegotiate it considering every other club has voted. You'd be aswell just rejecting it then putting a new proposal up for a vote.

So really one harsh winter month of postponements could have killed off all these clubs in the past? Wise up.

None of these clubs are having to spend money just now due to the furlough scheme, various business grants and their rent safe for 3 months.

It's not us withholding the money either so go and blame Doncaster, not us.

Do they not do that throughout the season, and then only the final payment is based on the extra amount on the final positions?

It wasn't enough!

You were literally on the verge of a meltdown earlier when you thought it was going through. We’ll see what happens after the stalemate of a few weeks.

It might well be. Twitter rumours are some part time sides are already done in terms of money, and still have a months wages to pay before the furlough money is received.

Until something is voted on, money won't be handed out for final league position.

So as we stand, Dundee, by refusing to either accept this proposal, or reject the proposal, are helping send these clubs to their death. If you don't want these plans, just reject them so the next proposal can be worked on. Dragging it out helps nobody, and harms everyone.

Bollocks.

The SPFL could have chosen to make an additional partial payout if they wanted - they chose not to.

Given their previous I would trust any promises of restructuring with a huge shovel of salt.

When? I was just arguing the reason to reject it, hardly a meltdown mate.

Their own rules are stopping them from doing it right now. They could definitely propose a motion to change that though.

Exactly. Whatever happens, we're not playing by the rules as they stand. What i suggested is entirely possible and would almost certainly pass unanimously.

Accusing Dundee of sending clubs to their deaths is a hysterical over reaction.
