Hopefully Talbot can get a result and at least try and save the Wosfl leadership some blushes.

You keep spouting this line, yet when asked to explain it by several people you reject that opportunity and ignore the request, then wait a few days and make the same bizarre claim.

So, a direct question to you from a member of the WoSFL Management Committee - why would Beith winning the league cause us any embarrassment ?

Exactly what happened when the West Juniors moved to set up the Wosfl?

Did nobody think to ask the question, what will happen if a non licensed club win the league?

What would happen if Beith say won 9 in a row and never bothered to apply for a licence?

Yet again you are avoiding answering the question Asked of you, Why is it an embarrassment if Beith win the league? And what if Beith do win 9 in a row and don’t apply for a license? That’s their prerogative if they don’t want to up to a weaker league than they are In they don’t need to.  Unless you give a definitive reply you should really stop going on about it.

This only seems to be an issue for you.

I apologise for embarrassing the leadership of the Wosfl.

Naw haud oan, you couldn't give that mob a rid neck with a blow torch.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

The Eosfl must be killing themselves laughing.

I can agree with the first part the reason the wosfl was set up was to be part of the pyramid and all club's who joined the wosfl should be committed to the process of being promoted to the lowland league and beyond.

Dont think the wosfl have anything to be embarrassed about beith are there on merit as they have been the most consistent team over the season.

Going forward who knows what beith and other club's plans are for their sfa licence I'm sure they see the benefits of having one it takes time and money to achieve .

At this rate the EoS is going to have unlicensed Crossgates, Whitburn, Bo'ness Athletic, etc. dominating soon so I really don't think anyone is fussed.

Beith can do whatever works for them. Longterm the money and investment off the park these other clubs are putting in now WILL come to fruition at some point and they will win the league and move up when it's there time...

We've come a long way in a short time and everyone is still finding their own way

Not really any different to the Junior setup, there would be no promotion and things just carry on as before.

You realise the EOSFL had three seasons where their champions were not licensed, until Kelty came along?

Think it would be better if most of you fecked off this thread. It's for the a team who are embarking on the biggest clusterfuck of league matches ever seen. I hate the pish of "Talbot have done it for years". We were forced into a situation where we were promised things would get better. Fucking joke.

Not forced into anything, your junior FA are the ones who fucked up and guess what, the Lowland and SFA weren't too bothered if we all stayed in the juniors, just a few junior teams had had enough of no progression and decided they were leaving and making their own destiny. If Talbot didn't want to go, they didn't need to as for years everyone listened to the junior FA saying what they state is in the best interest of all their members lollll and then they announced to their clubs that it was best they all join the WOSFL as their league was shutting down.  The new WOSFL is already far better with every clubs future in their own hands and their own destiny.

I'm sure this has happened many times to Talbot with an array of league matches to catch up due to their success in all the cups available

In regards to the comments of 'embarrassment' mentioned above, I don't think its an embarrassment, it just means our teams in the West are not good enough to go any further this season and past seasons.  Hopefully it will happen soon as right now, in the future, it will show in the history books that the WOSFL didn't supply a team to enter the higher league, the Lowland League as we weren't good enough with EOSFL teams keep being promoted.

Tell me something if Talbot didn't  move over what was left for them.

Nothing. They were faced with Hobson's Choice but at least they came over into a professional set up with basic things provided like a sensible fixture list...aye right.

Every season seems to have a mitigating circumstances as to why its such a mess. Last season was the "transition season" with a 20 team league and this year the clubs voted for no early season midweek games. Would love to know which clubs voted for it.

The fact is the pyramid is a load of dung. That clown talking about wosfl clubs not being good enough. If Beith had that wee bit of paper they'd get promoted by beating Linlithgow and if they did they'd go into a lesser quality league. It's got nothing to do with how good teams are.

As a non Talbot supporter and playing Devils Advocate; what are the reasons as you see them for Talbot playing catch up. You are not alone on this. Kilwinning, SBA and some others are in same position but don't seem to be suggesting it's some sort of conspiracy against their team. Not belittling it but let's come up with solutions not moaning.

Don't think anyone is suggesting it's a conspiracy against Talbot, I'm certainly not. The solution was more midweek games at the start of the season and no play offs dictating an early finish. There won't even be a play off if Beith win.
