WoSFL Premier Division thread

Glens. If wee nicky does bring a halt to the football and the league is decided by Phase 1 who is currently at the top of the league. If its us would we be made to play play offs for the LL.
If the season cannot be played to a finish but Phase One is completed, Auchinleck will finish top of the Phase 1 table and would be the WoSFL's representative in the Lower Pyramid Play-Offs.

Sorry for being thick but what do you mean by four games left? Is that four specific matches or do each club have four more matches to play?
Four specific matches. No team has more than one game left to play. Three of the games are scheduled for 8th January, the other on 15th January.

Interesting use of words, "made to play play offs". [emoji848]

Thanks. Are you willing to name the matches? Looked at the leagues and it seems all clubs have played half of their programme

Just now, Andy groundhopper said:

Is the Phase 1 an after effect of league restructures, when clubs were split into groups ? (Think I read it somewhere)  hope all Scottish league's reach a decent number of games played - no more lockdowns please, the clubs have done really well to get this far - then get completed asap.

Phase 1 is just everyone in the same division playing each other once. Think Division 4 might be twice due to the smaller number of games. The Phase 1 standings are to be used to form next season's Premier-First-Second-Third Divisions unless the season is completed.

These are the current Phase One standings, colour coded with my team highlighted as it was a graphic made up for use on our social media.

The teams in bold purple would be the ones moving down to the new First Division, with one team still to be confirmed.
