Or be bayoneted.

Piss poor history as well. You’d think Union Jack pumpers would know that the place was called “Great Britain” in 1746, not “the United Kingdom”.

The Jacobites were fighting to restore the Stuart monarchy. While there were some that were in favour of repealing the Act of Union it doesn't necessarily follow that a Stuart restoration would have resulted in the return an independent Scottish parliament.

Vote for George in the Highlands- he likes the guys who burned your great great great grannie's croft

Maybe he’s going for the votes of those who watched Outlander and were - for some reason - right behind the villains? I can imagine a psychopath like Galloway being the type who watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and instinctively sided with  the Nazis, for example.

This c**t once thought he was a socialist. With this "undeserving poor" pish he's coming out with here, he's sharing a platform with Norman Tebbitt.

He is an absolute shambles of a man.

If only the old b*****d had spent a good few nights away from Mrs Galloway, we might have been spared their hideous, psychotic, unshaven, hatted offspring.

I knew his father, though not very well; he was a decent guy.  I reckon he’d be appalled by what his son is now doing and saying.

Would he really though?

Being known as an imbecile for the level of money Galloway is likely rolling in isn't a terrible trade-off tbh!

Yeah I think he would.  Not everyone is willing to sacrifice or compromise their principles.
