There are people who suffer from symptoms post infection, this is also legitimate, scientifically proven. There is also something called Chronic Lyme Disease, where people who have not been infected with the bacteria that causes Lyme claim to have the disease. It is bullshit, with no evidence for it.I find medical conspiracies like this interesting. The believers say that the medical establishment/Big Pharma are covering up this disease, don’t want people to find out about it. At the same time you have parallel conspiracies that say the opposite, that the establishment are *inventing* diseases so they can make money. I was reminded of this a few days ago when someone shared that an AIDS denialist was writing for a lockdown sceptic website. You sometimes find people who both believe that Big Pharma invented AIDS and vaccines to make money but that they are covering up Chronic Lyme or Morgellons because of, er, reasons.Morgellons is a pseudo disease where sufferers claim they have fibres growing out of their skin.
