It would have been very interesting if it had been Rangers and not Motherwell who were due to play Killie and St Mirren.

Would they have been awarded the 6 points (and probably the League title). Imagine the seethe from Sellic fans alone.

Aye the spfl just love us, they'd have gift wrapped the points too.

Any old Filth teams fans on here gloating or justifying the Leagues punishment on this needs to take a good look at themselves !

this could happen to any one of us yet Doncaster has came down hard on Killie and Saints. a bloody outrageous ruling which

could have bearing on final placings in the League . Integrity totally wiped out . here . Expect this from some South American

Tinpot league , not a National Professional Football League like the SPFL !

It would have been 4-0 because of the penalty

They wouldn't do anything to upset Lawwell and Co.

It's far easier handing out a severe punishment to the smaller sized clubs.

Failing to see the issue here.

Would the same level of punishment been handed out to the 2 big Glasgow clubs?

Your honest answer would be no, so that's the issue.

You don't tell me what my honest answer would be.

So the issue is an imaginary scenario? Should those clubs break the same rules and admit to it and are not punished the same then there would be an issue, but none of that has happened.

Its highly unlikely we'll ever know because those two particular clubs will be running their clubs (off the park) professionally, and probably have a whole squadron of staff overseeing covid protocols.

For it to be as clear cut as this in terms of "punished accordingly", you would need to know what the rules are and what the list of proposed punishments are. These are not publicly available, so I have no idea how you can reach this conclusion.

After last season being "called early" and with the risk of postponements so great this season it was the onus of individual clubs to avoid a situation they could be held responsible for - seeing the points (oops!) where we fell short the punishment seems both inevitable & appropriate to me.

I really don't want to see us descending into whataboutery over the issue..

Just when things can't get worse one of our main league rivals get a game against a 2nd string Utd. FFS !

You do wonder if they would have asked for a postponement if it hadn’t been for what happened to us yesterday.

If we had known we were going to get 0-3 awarded against us we would have sent out our youth team for both games, like United will do tomorrow.

Hindsight etc.
