Craig Wighton has been good, given Bene and Davidson a torrid time. We’ve been good second half, really proud of the way we attacked Hearts. 3-1 is very harsh on us. Amazing to get Vaughan in the park again and fingers and toes crossed Duku is fit for Saturday.

We played well enough I’d say. In open play probably worth a draw.

The referee has had a disaster all round. Never a first pen, second one probably outside the box and certainly a red, Davidson clearly should’ve been sent off and it’s a stonewaller for us at 2-1.

Never mind. Encouraged by the performance.

Hearts won't win the championship at this level of performance.

It's as if we've got a severely weakened side out or something

The weakest Hearts player being the ref tbqhwy.

I think the team was picked with a stronger Hearts side in mind. Getting players closer to Manny in the second half made all the difference.

A lot of positives to take from that, especially if Duku's injury isn't serious. That team will score goals in the Championship. If Musonda is better than either Davidson or Benedictus, we might even keep a couple out, too.

Really, the wrong system to start with. Hopefully puts paid to serious notions of three at the back, not enough mobility to play a higher line, and too much space in behind the wing backs to cope well, though had it been Tait in there instead of Spencer we might have been better able to cover.

I don't think the first is a penalty, and having carded Bene the ref should send him off for the second which, penalty or no is a booking. Ours was a decent shout for one as well.

Second half, we shifted back to a 4 and looked instantly more comfortable. Great strike from Duku who looked far more assured than he did against EF. Great to see that Vaughan still has it. Fingers crossed that Duku's sub was more precautionary, as if we could get him alongside Vaughan we'd look dangerous.

Mendy, weirdly, looked fine. Still hoping Masonda has something about him.
