Is he a natural defender? Nope. Would I rather he played midfield? Aye. But if him playing there provides the defensive balance we otherwise wouldnt have without him there, then fine.

Saying hes been shite the last 3 games just screams that you made up your mind on him months ago and wont accept evidence to the contrary.

We looked good for 90 minutes. His one lapse of concentration looks to have fucked us. He had one job to do.

You can go on about his passing and all the good he did for 89 minutes. That 1 mistake isn't a shock. Its the Scotland way and has been for some time

Yes but the players he brought on to “see it out” don’t look capable of playing in a way that will produce a goal. I always think that you should just keep playing the same way anyway, rather than surrendering the initiative and inviting trouble. But, I agree the defending was shite.
