HTG
If Biden sits on his arse and does next to nothing for the next 4 years that'll be a step forward from being run by a fucking sociopathic, narcissistic arsehole. He's unlikely to tweet stuff like "LIBERATE MICHIGAN" followed by SUVs arriving in town full of tooled up arseholes. That's the sort of thing that could easily be overlooked by those who want to see progress rather than just resetting the clock to "sane".

There's no chance Obama gives up his priavte sector income for this shitshow. Given that he squeaked it and has no chance of running in 2024 Biden's people will keep things as conservative as possible
BillyAnchor
Yes you can't move to the left when you have midterms round the corner.

They don't have any interest in moving left. They have their ideal voter base now of wealthy, college educated people who are happy with the economic status quo and they will ride that until it falls apart. It's a completely reckless tactic. During a huge recession governments need to lead, not follow. In the same way that austerity led to Brexit for Cameron moderation will lead to President Cotton or Haley in 2024. NotThePars
Yes you can't move to the left when you have midterms round the corner. You can’t move to the left when Caesar’s Legion is camped on the banks of the Colorado River

Not left-wing enough. Biden is a socialist in case you didn’t know.

Let’s see how much changes on issues such as systemic racism, police brutality, gun control, child poverty, etc. Healthcare may improve, then again maybe not too much. I would spare yourself any anguish and just give up any hope of any American President making the world a better place, ever

tamthebam
It's interesting the mention of his age, and he probably is too old but our Head of State is 95 next year and Pope Francis is 83 and nobody ever says they're gaga.

Biden seems to have all the signs of early stage dementia - I should know as my step-dad has Alzheimers.
