Worth remembering that the most powerful man on the planet was once caught plagiarising Neil Kinnock

Is the definition of the 'most powerful man in the world' the one that has the largest military infrastructure?

Or is it defined by 'Sole Authority' over nuclear missile launching?

If it is defined by Nuclear missile launching 'Sole Authority'  then the title belongs to three men, The US President, The French President and the British Prime Minister.

The case for the largest economy is also up for grabs when you consider China's thriving economy.

All this Powerful Man talk only feeds the American ego.

Who do we think that Biden will invade first?
Best way to unite a divided country- invade somewhere that can be easily defeated with few casualties- St Kitts and Nevis perhaps?

Bad idea.  Some crazy hotel owner now living there.  Don't mention the war.

It's probably best to stay mute for now given a lot of the press reporting will be different wings posturing for a position but lol if some of it doesn't just make you laugh. Imagine if Rahm Emmanuel ends up there.

There were rumours of fucking Dick Cheney being involved. Thankfully quashed.

Biden needs to heal the nation and what better way to do so, in the spirit of reconciliation, is to build a military base on Little St James.

A good article about how brittle the Biden coalition is.

These threads are all a mess now. There should be the classic Trump one and this Biden one. Winner takes the Yank politics discussion from there. Thread starting is a weird fetish.

It's simple. One for the slow rolling disaster of the incoming Biden presidency. One for the election. One for your favourite Trump memories. Easy peasy.

Thought the Nobel Peace prize winner would've been dead by now - I take it he waited till after the election before giving this endorsement.

Anyway to recycle an old Eric Idle joke I see Biden has appointed Ron de Klain as his new Chief of Staff.
