We've seen loads of Israel and tbh they always impress me. Zahavi is a fine player and would waltz into our team as would Manor Soloman and Eli Dasa. We've rightly been praised for the 90mins against Serbia and the first half against Slovakia but we drew the first game and lost the 2nd. Israel are out equal, they've home advantage, but we're playing for more. A low scoring draw looks the most likely outcome but it could go either way, which is why the bookies have priced it up that way. I fancy Czechs at (-1) and (-2) at home to Slovakia. wouldnt surprise me if the slovaks got something off the czechs if they go with a reasonably strong team

Spikethedee
TBH, I would happily have taken finishing second in the group at the start of the campaign. However, considering the position we were in after the last set of fixtures, it would be a real downer not to finish top and get promotion. Scotland way would be to lose a two goal lead to Israel, and succumb to a last-minute Czech winner against the Slovaks....
pandarilla
Please please please not McBurnie, we need to win this game not have a team trying their best to set McBurnie up for his first international goal. McBurnie is not playing well and not scoring goals no matter how good he looks in training. Surely to f**k there's no way he goes with mcburnie over dykes? That would be insane.I wouldn't mind tierney at lwb again as i thought he was much better in that position on Sunday. It'll be absolutely gutting if we don't win this.

The Slovaks have been poor these matches, but they have much better players. Slovakia are likely a Pot 2 team for WC. Israel are closer to Pot 5 than Pot 3... Israel have one player preventing them from competing with the likes of Latvia.
Gordopolis
Should I put my usual quid on one of our guys to score 2 or more... or should I just pop it in the bin?

Gordopolis
If you can't be positive now, when can you be?Seriously though, I put £2 on Forrest to score 2 or more Vs Albania a few years ago, won £50. Then put the same bet on Vs Israel in the match we won 3-2 and won another 50. Ever since that's been my staple coupon... am now down to the last £10 of those winnings! I am positive tho, and I inevitably will be popping a quid or two on a Considine double tonight [emoji6]
ropy
Scotland to win or Czechs not to win, that is the question. Nothing else matters.

Other than the ridiculous routine hat tricks we've experienced in the last 4-5 years, I'm guessing we've only seen two goals on one occasion? Actually, other than those hat tricks, in the last decade the only players to have score 2 goals in a game must be Naismith and Maloney? In fact, beyond that it can only be Miller (1 occasion), Boyd (2 occasions), and Colin Hendry since 2000? Perhaps I've missed one, but we just don't score many goals...

But we might.
