If a bigoted dinosaur like Dick 'dick' Campbell can now do a turn in this honking standard of league then perhaps McPherson will prove much more competent as well. It's not exactly a great managerial meeting of the minds right now.

The past criminal record of him and in particular his loathsome assistant prevents any genuine support for them though. Do the job and kindly f**k off again this summer and we can all forget this is happening.

Dick Campbell was merely mediocre in this league on his last occasion though, instead of guiding his team to relegation like an Exocet missile as McPherson did with QoS.

How dare you, we have a fine pool of Scottish managers coming through!

A big night in the dugshite fight tonight as Ayr and Inverness tied on points in 7th and 8th travel to high(ish) flying Dundee and Raith on 4th and 3rd.  Based on weekend results / recent form ICT more likely to get anything than Ayr but a win for one and a loss for the other could prove huge in the run in.

Prediction:  Dundee 2-0 Ayr.   Raith 0-0 Inverness.  98/1 the double at B365.  Other bookies are available.

Disaster of a night for Morton. Saturday at home to Queens is now an absolute must win game for us, can't afford to end up potentially falling further behind.

We finish the season with a home game against Alloa followed by a trip to Arbroath. The thought of that makes me very nervous right now.

Probably be safe with the shortened season. If it was 36 games you'd definitely be at just as much risk as everyone else. Absolutely mental division.

If we were to beat them on Saturday does that mean we’re back in the playoff hunt or Raith are in a relegation battle? Or both?

Mental is an understatement.
