G51 Posted December 30, 2020 Share Posted December 30, 2020 Prediction: a couple of solutions for when St Mirren try to man-mark Tavernier with Mason: 1) Push Tavernier high and wide and give Aribo/Davis the ability to drop in there. This allows us to still progress through the right hand side as long as we move the ball into the centre entering the final third. 2) St Mirren get wise to that and push Mason up on whoever drops into RB, then we hit long to Tavernier and expect him to win his 1v1 aerially. Which he does, a lot. 3) Morelos drops deep, Aribo pushes wide right and Hagi rotates into the middle while we keep Tavernier flat with Goldson. I've read that three times and no idea what you're wittering on about.
