Rangers vs St Johnstone, Wednesday 3 February 2021

Hagi is capable but he still has a lot to work on. His first touch is very erratic.
He definitely has that kind of stuff in his locker but Aribo and Kent offer a little more, in my opinion.
I've watched Rangers maybe 10-12 times this season and I'm yet to see Aribo be anything other than terrible, one good goal aside.

Kent is off form from the start of the season but he at least offers something in the way of occupying players and stretching teams.

Of the games I've seen, when he's played Hagi has had more impact than either of them though. I'd guess the stats would back that up too, in terms of goals and assists per minutes played?

I honestly don't get the hype with Aribo. Great five a side player I'm sure.

Aribo's close control and physical strength are excellent. St Johnstone couldn't get near him in the first half.

I wonder if we might have got a goal if we’d switched it up a bit earlier. Looked far better when Melamed came on and the midfield and wing backs started pressing higher up.

I appreciate if we did that the whole game we might get caught out but worth starting it with 20 to go instead of 10 IMO.

Aye, I thought after Rangers putting a bit of pressure on just after half time St Johnstone came back into it. I think Kane made a difference too when he came on and seemed to unsettle Goldson a bit and then we dropped deeper as a result.
