Frankly I couldn't care less who we appoint, they'll be starting with a blank canvas and deserve our trust and support right from the off whoever it is, as we know everyone quoted has blotted their copybooks in one way or another, hence they're out of a job and applying for a vacancy at a team sitting 3rd bottom of the Championship so it's a chance for them to impress / rebuild their career and for us we just need some stability and to maintain our Championship status.

David Smith is a supporter and a successful businessman so I think we should just leave it up to him and then go with it and give the guy a chance whoever it is.

Nothing says 'panicking about a haddy player/manager' quite like this birthday caird pish being rolled out.

Hoping Moffat stays on in some kind of coaching capacity beyond the end of the season, with a footballing brain like he could be a very good coach and I'm sure that Shankland gives Moffat a lot of credit in his development with us.

Someone on SRE a couple of days ago said he's off to junior next year, unsure if true or not.

An announcement tomorrow would be good, give the team an extra incentive to win and impress the new manger against Raith.

He can’t meet players until Thursday I believe due to entering the Covid bubble , he will come aboard when players get next round of tests , which looks like Thursday as they will be day off Wednesday , I read today that the keeper from St Mirren can’t play tomorrow as his Covid test will have ran out and he needs to get his in our next round

Would love Moff to stay on at the club in a coaching role, and s&c would fit in with being a PT. Is there a specialist s&c coach at the club or is that undertaken by one of the other coaches?

Given he's still in great nick in his mid/late thirties, he's probably worth listening to.

I'd honestly hoped that covid might finally wipe out the fucking pestilence that is the UK bookmakers market, so to see people credulously throwing money at contrived shitshows like manager bets depresses me.

I’m not sure what is more mental: McInnes even being suggested or someone not wanting McInnes as manager.

I’m not suggesting him there is no chance of that happening. What happens though if we offered to McIntyre and he has been headhunted for the Aberdeen job? Just thinking it could extend our hunt for a manager
