Pens_Dark
Delighted she is gone. They are all serpents, are the tories, but is there anyone quite as serpent like as Suella Braverman? You'd be hard pushed.

I’m not debating this with you, I’m stating the fact that Tony Blair is a despicable piece of shit, a war criminal and he should be jailed for life for his crimes against humanity.

I genuinely had to google to see if he was still an MP and had been festering unnoticed and non-speaking on the back benches, a fair collection of Ex PMs now on the Tory backbenches, they could probably form their own wee club. But my initial thoughts were right and he packed it in to live in France years ago, just around Brexit time for the irony impaired.
ICTChris
Apparently Braverman was pushing for Sunak to call a snap election on the subject of 'Stop the Boats' as that was something that the Tories could hold Labour's feet to the fire on, gain an electoral advantage. Utterly deranged politics - to give her credit, you have to assume she knows that the Tories would get booted and then she could ascend into 'power' as leader of the opposition. Still pretty deranged but not as much as if she thought that calling an election to end a crisis that has begun and continued during her own government's reign. I don't believe Braverman has any designs on PM'ing a government. She wants one cycle as leader of the opposition, so she can be as ridiculous as possible, then f**k off somewhere like the Lords or the US speaking circuit and make a mint. Like a slightly more unhinged Ruth Davidson basically.

Sherrif John Bunnell
Sunak is toast. The Mail and Express already didn't like him after ousting Johnson and Truss. They'll be fully against him now that he's punted their beloved Suella. I have a bad feeling this isn't the end of Braverman"s politics career though. Silvio Tattiescone
Rumour that the Supreme Court decision on sending asylum seekers to Rwanda is going to come down in the Tory's favour and Braverman would have been untouchable as a result.
KirkieRR
As I recall the Labour response to 'Stop the Boats' was something like 'The Tories are rubbish at stopping the boats and we'd be better' so it would have been a curious campaign.
