Melanius Mullarkey
Bit of a, ahem, leeky defence there.
resk
Switched over just in time to see Serbia equalise. Nice goal.
G51
Ireland starting to fall apart a bit here.
Kejan
Watching both Wales and Ireland, so probably missing both games ; but that keeper looks alright for Ireland. Serbia a lot of huff and puff, but they look the better side. Kenny did well with the Irish U21s. A point would be a very good result here, plus the Serbs having to come to Dublin later - with potentially at least some form of a crowd. I've got Lukaku for 2+ goals, so mon the bigman in the next 45.
Jambomo
Does Bale only care about playing for Wales? He looks a lot better than the last few times I’ve seen him for Spurs.
G51
This is a pretty good game.
Coooombe
Wales look like a very decent team. If Dan James was a footballer as opposed to a 100m sprinter then they'd actually look dangerous.
G51
That is a beautiful goal by Serbia. Mitrovic chipping the keeper from 30 yards out.
lichtie23
Stunner from Mitrovic
RossBFaeDundee
Surely the keeper should've clicked sooner. Great finish though.
Ira Gaines
The foul for that Belgium penalty was pretty funny. Serious "canny be fucked" vibes from the challenge.
resk
Mitrovic has fairly turned up tonight eh.
lichtie23
Game on again tho
Kejan
Ireland did alright. A tough game and fairly unlucky not to grab a point there. Maybe its turning around for Kenny. After praising the keeper in the first half, he might hae done better for the second and third goal.
RossBFaeDundee
Was Stephen Kenny crying there?
DiegoDiego
Very pleasing to see Croatia lose to a League C team.

If you applied that logic, you'd need to block most Buddhists from being employed on British tv. Anyway, good to have the qualifiers up and running. Some pretty interesting results. Interesting to see where Ireland end up. I know they've had a shocking run, but I wouldn't put it past them to do well in this group. Tonight's result is no disaster.
Marten
Suriname won their first qualifier 3-0 against Cayman Islands. This was their first ever competitive match with players who were born and/or grew up in The Netherlands, meaning they now have a much stronger team. Pretty much there entire team is full-time, with quite a few players playing for Dutch, English and other European clubs. Considering their population is less than Luxembourg, that's quite something.
